Outpouring of support at "Clinton Loves Nola's"

By WKTV News

CLINTON, N.Y. (WKTV) - The local community came out to show their love for Nola's during an event called Clinton Loves Nola's Thursday night.

The popular restaurant, located in the village, sustained severe damage from a pipes bursting incident last month.

The event took place at the Kirkland Arts Center and featured music, food and drinks.

"When we walked into the place and saw the ceiling down, it hurt a little bit," said Janssen Fay Nola's co-owner. "The ceiling can be replaced. It's the support that's been given to us, that gets right to the heart."

The owners are currently working to repair the damage, there still is no word on when it will reopen.
