Notre Dame graduates 50th class

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Congratulations to the graduating Class of 2011 at Notre Dame High School. All 67 graduates are headed to college. The class amassed nearly 5 million dollars in scholarships to get them started.

Notre Dame's 50th commencement ceremony was held Friday night inside the gymnasium of the Burrstone Road school. The guest speaker was from the very first graduating class- Donald Blake from the Class of 1961.

The 2011 Valedictorian is Kasia Kozak of Deerfield with a GPA of 95.77. The Salutatorian is Kayli Brownstein of Utica, with a GPA of 95.62. More than half of the class is graduating with some college credits already earned. Some students have as many as 21 college credits in their pocket.
