CEO of General Electric speaks words of wisdom at Hamilton College's commencement ceremony

CLINTON, N.Y. (WKTV) - Hamilton College has celebrated their 198Th commencement ceremony Sunday at the the college's Scott Field House.

The commencement speaker was the chairman and CEO of General Electric, Jeffrey Immelt who has been named one of the world's best CEO's three times. Also, since Immelt has taken over General Electric in 2000, the company has been named America's most admired company in a Fortune Magazine poll.

Immelt had some association with Hamilton College, since his daughter was in the graduating class, and he says that students "shouldn't be discouraged about what they see in the environment, they should be excited about their opportunity and always stay optimistic.
