After Sandy, decorations back up for Halloween

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - LIghts, spiders, ghosts and music made one house in East Utica a place to see Wednesday night, trick-or-treater or not.

The Redmonds have decorated their home on Leeds Street every year for the past 12 years. Going above and beyond just giving out candy, all for the kids.

"They look forward to it, that's why we put it back up again this year because so many people look forward to it every year," said Donna Redmond. "The school buses stop, the drivers come out they come and see everything so we do it because the kids love it."

The Redmonds say they decorated weeks ago but had to take their many decorations down as tropical storm Sandy approached. They put it all back up Tuesday, taking a total of 8 hours.
