Crowds gather for Clinton Fine Arts and Crafts Festival

CLINTON, N.Y. (WKTV) - The 16th annual Fine Arts and Crafts Festival took place Saturday, featuring high quality one-of-kind goods.

The event started as a way to raise money for K-12 students in the Clinton School District. There is a wide variety to choose from and even a food court.

Organizers say it's the sense of community that brings people back every year.

Festival Director Frank Cittadino said, "Maybe it's that quality and integrity of the people that live in Central New York as evidence by whenever there is some fundraising effort we always seem to rival areas four or five times if not greater population. I think it has to do with the quality of Central New Yorkers and the values that we really hold dear."

The festival continues Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the high school.
