Carbone employees buy gifts for local kids

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - One local car dealership and its employees are getting kids in the holiday spirit. The Carbone Auto Group gave away 700 toys.

This project will make the holidays a little happier for local kids who receive services from several local organization. The names and ages of kids and along with their "wish lists" were posted for Carbone employees.

Employees dug into their pockets and provided the gifts.

Enessa Carbone, from the Carbone Auto Group said, "They bring the present to our christmas party which was last weekend at Turning Stone and we had one of the best responses. we filled a limo bus with Christmas presents."

Those gifts will go to the House of the Good Shepherd, RCIL, Upstate Cerebral Palsy, the Family Nurturing Center, and the ARC of Oneida and Lewis Counties, as well as the Johnson Park Center of Utica.
