"Dr. Stein" is this year's Schultz & Dooley holiday stein

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The doctor made a house call on Saturday at the F.X. Matt Brewery. Dr. Stein that is. This year's Schultz & Dooley's collector's stein for the holidays is that of a doctor, appropriately called 'Dr. Stein'.

The annual collector's festival was held Saturday with live music and plenty of beer on tap to fill those steins.

Schultz & Dooley, the famous talking beer steins were introduced to television audiences here in Utica way back in 1958, and Brewery spokesperson Meghan Fraser says the collector's steins seem to get more popular as the years go by. Fraser adds, "Utica Club is very popular, but Schultz & Dooley really took that brand to a whole other level, so a lot of people know us as The Utica Club Brewery, a lot of people know us as Saranac, but a lot of people have Schultz & Dooley on their mind when they think of this brewery."
