Flipping the switch on the Wonderland of Lights for 2010

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - It was time to flip the switch on the holiday season in Utica with the Resource Center for Independent Living's Wonderland of Lights on the campus of the Masonic Care Community.

There was certainly a festive feeling in the air with runners and walkers getting into the spirit as they run past the lights.

While the lights are a family tradition, you can expect to see some new sights as well - a whole new spectacular winter sports scene, a new ice skating scene, and a favorite the teddy bear has been refurbished and it is back in a big way.

Everything opens to the public on Friday, November 19 and runs from 5:30 - 9 p.m. The cost is $8 per car for a family, couple, or individual to enjoy the numerous holiday illuminations that line the campus.
