Benefit held in honor of baby with rare eye cancer

WASHINGTON MILLS, N.Y. (WKTV) - A fundraiser was held Sunday afternoon to help a family and their baby girl. 12-month-old Savannah Redmond was diagnosed with Retinoblastoma, a rare cancer of the eye.

Her parents, Joe and Susan, along with the toddler will be traveling often to the Wills Eye Institute in Philadelphia where she will receive Chemotherapy and other treatments.

The fundraiser was to help aleviate some of the costs. Food, entertainment, clowns, psychics, feathers and colored hair extensions and a chinese raffle were among some of the things offered at the event.
