UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Cafe Caruso on Bleecker Street in the City of Utica is offering a meal Tuesday n exchange for a donation, in honor of St. Joseph's Day.

On this day, many Italians wear red to pay homage to St. Joseph, who is the patron saint worldwide for workers and people of service.

Italians have a special devotion for St. Joseph, but for Uticans, it's not just about work and faith, it's also about food.

Chef Michael Paniccia served a "poor-man's meal," on Tuesday, consisting of pasta, beans, Sicilian sausage, and bread.

There's no charge for the meal, but it's asked that in exchange a donation be made that will go to the Veteran's Outreach Program.
