Central New York Postcard Club holds show in Clinton

CLINTON, N.Y. (WKTV) - Postcard collectors and enthusiasts gathered for a Postcard Show held at the Clinton Arena on Saturday.

The show was put on by the Central New York Postcard Club.

The Club was founded back in 1976 but the club's president says postcards date back to the early 1900's. Club President Andy Drake said, "It was the only source of communication people had. Back before the telephones, if a relative was going to come visit or someone took a trip, this was how they would converse with family, friends to talk about events in their life."

The Central New York Postcard Club holds these postcard shows every year, both in the fall and also in the spring.
