Halloween celebrated at the Children's Museum

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - With Halloween falling smack dab in the middle of the week this year, many celebrations and parties are happening this weekend including the Boo Bash at the Children's Museum in Utica.

The event kicked off Saturday morning with some special guests, helping to unveil new exhibits on the third floor.

The third floor is all about "cool renewable energy." The party took up all four floors with treat stations, a haunted hall and a costume contest!

Children's Museum Executive Director Marlene Brown said, "There's something about kids dressing up in costume, and I know I've got my grandson here, and if they can dress up in costume, and have fun, normally they come here dressed in regular clothes and if they come here in a costume, it's that much more fun."

Also on Saturday, brand new Children's Museum t-shirts were unveiled.
