Local author, historian publishes second book about Utica

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Local author, photographer and historian, Jozef Malinowski, announced the release of his second book, “Sundays in the City: A Snapshot in Time of Utica, New York."

The book is described as a modern photo-documentary and contains over 2,000 pictures of the City of Utica and surrounding areas, highlighting local businesses, commercial architecture, public buildings, churches and other houses of worship, historical landmarks, monuments, parks, events and parades, landscape, wildlife, and the general cityscape.

“Sundays in the City: A Snapshot in Time of Utica, New York” is said to capture and preserve the heart and history of Utica, New York as it exists today for future generations to cherish.

The book can also be used as a fundraiser by local not-for-profit organizations and churches by contacting the author.
