MVCC seeks young entrepreneurs for nine-month program

(WKTV) - Mohawk Valley Community College is seeking students in grades seven through 12 for its Young Entrepreneurs Academy.

YEA is a nine-month program that teaches students the power of their ideas and leads them through the process of a real business that can be carried out after the graduation from the class. MVCC is currently accepting applications from students in Oneida County. The program is $295, and scholarships are available.

Program and scholarship applications must be postmarked by Oct. 15. The selection process is competitive.

Class will be on Wednesdays starting in November from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and will continue the duration of the school year. Classes will meet in IT 219 at Mohawk Valley Community College.
