ROME, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Rome Housing Authority took Liberty Gardens' brand-new, multi-million dollar community center for a test run on Tuesday.

They filled the new Edward W. Corr Community Center with local dignitaries and Liberty Gardens residents for a ribbon cutting on the new, $13.4 million building.

The community center is available for parties and get togethers for those living at Liberty Gardens on North Levitt Street, as well as the entire community.

The center has computers, laundry facilities, a kitchen and meeting space.
