Prosecutors say Anthony Saccone drank and used cocaine before running a red light at over 80 miles an hour in a 35 mph zone in February.

The Post-Standard says relatives of both Saccone and the crash victims cried Monday as an Onondaga County judge set bail at $1 million cash or $2 million bond.

The crash killed 19-year-old Baylie Rose and her passengers, 18-year-old Michael Walker and 20-year-old Samra Osmanovic.

Walker and Osmanovic were students at Onondaga Community College. Rose was taking a break from school to work.

The defense describes Saccone as a stay-at-home father with two young children who has no criminal record.
