UTICA, N.Y. - Day four of the Kaitlyn Conley murder trial is underway in Oneida County Court.
Twenty-four-year-old Conley of Sauquoit is accused of poisoning her chiropractor boss, Dr. Mary Yoder, to death in 2015. Conley worked for the Yoder family's chiropractic office in Whitesboro, and she also dated Yoder's son, Adam Yoder, on and off.
The trial is expected to last three weeks with approximately 60 witnesses testifying. On Wednesday, doctors who treated Mary Yoder when she fell ill and deteriorated quickly in July 2015 testified in court, as well as the medical examiner who performed her autopsy and her eldest daughter, Liana Hedge.
The first witness to the take the stand Thursday morning is a forensic toxicologist.
