UTICA, NY – Four brand new faces have been added to the Mohawk Valley Community College’s Hall of Fame.

The MVCC Hall of Fame Class of 2017 was inducted Monday at a formal ceremony in the college’s Information Technology building.

The Hall recognizes individuals who embrace the local community and encourage excellence at MVCC.

Selections are also made based on personal and business achievements, as well as past or present service to MVCC, and the growth and development of MVCC athletics.

MVCC President Dr. Randall Van Wagoner says, this year’s inductees definitely fit that bill.

“The individuals inducted here this evening, they understood the value of a community college decades ago. They committed their life’s work to advancing the cause of community colleges in society and the importance of them here in the community. We’re incredibly thankful to all of them.”

This year’s inductees include the late John D. “Jack” Plumley, Mark E. Radlowski, Donald C. Wilner, and Colleen Peterson Wallace.
