DEERFIELD – Gene Allen from the city of Utica joined NewsTalk this afternoon to talk about this year’s Christmas on Main Street event.
The 31st annual Christmas on Main Street will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, November 18 at Union Station, which is located at 321 Main St. in Utica.
Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus will arrive at 12:15 p.m., and Santa will be available for free photos from 12:30-4:30 p.m.
The event includes free cookies, popcorn, hot cocoa and McDonald’s orange ade, as well as Ziyara Zanies clowns, balloon animals and costume characters. There will be free wagon rides by Clinton Tractor from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and free entertainment inside Union Station from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Steven’s Swan Humane Society will be there from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the Utica Zoo Mobile Petting Zoo will be there from 1-4 p.m.
