Ride for Missing Children to hold first meeting tonight

The Ride for Missing Children CNY will hold its first meeting of the year this evening at MVCC in Utica.

UTICA – The Ride for Missing Children CNY will hold its first meeting of the year this evening at Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica.

A meeting for new riders will be held at 6 p.m. in room 225 in MVCC's IT building, and the meeting for all riders and volunteers will be held at 7 p.m. in the IT building’s theater. The meeting is open to anybody interested in learning more about The Ride.

This year’s ride will be held on Friday, June 1.

The Ride for Missing Children is the biggest annual fundraiser for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. So far, The Ride has raised money for 10,504,112 posters for 10,912 missing children. Of those missing children, 7,491 have been recovered.
