Siena College Releases Poll on 20th Congressional District Race

A recent Siena College poll is showing Republican candidate for Congress, in the 20th Congressional District, John Sweeney favored over Democrat Kirsten Gillibrand.  The 20th district covers parts of Otsego County. 

The question asked: If the election was held tomorrow, who would you vote for?  Here are the results:

Kirsten Gillibrand 39%
don't know/no opinion 9%

Another question was asked: Do you have a favorable opinion or an unfavorable opinion of each of the candidates running for the 20th Congressional seat?  Here are those results:

Unfavorable 35%
don't know/no opinion 16%

Candidate: Kirsten Gillibrand Total
Favorable 33%
Unfavorable 34%
don't know/no opinion 32%
