Conservative Party response to Palin as Republican VP candidate

Ft. Hamilton Station, NY –  State Chairman, Michael R. Long, and the members of the New York State Conservative Party, strongly support the decision of Senator John McCain to choose Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin  as his vice-presidential running mate.

 

 

 

Senator McCain chose a woman who has shown that reform can be achieved in government and has proven so by slashing pork barrel spending in a state known for its pork barrel spending.  Governor Sarah Palin has a proven record that conservatives can be proud of, truly understands the role of government in our everyday lives, and understands that government can be reformed to what our founding fathers adopted in our Constitution.

 

 Senator John McCain is a visionary and has chosen a woman who is as well. 

 

Congratulations, now on to victory in November.
