Phone interview with local McCain delegate, Anthony Casale

St. PAUL, M.N. (WKTV) - Crews added a catwalk to the stage at the XCel Energy Center Thursday, so Senator John McCain won't be stuck behind a podium while he addresses the packed crowd at the Republican National Convention.

McCain is known to be more comfortable in "town hall" type environments, rather than traditional speech settings.

McCain will look to pick up where his running mate Sarah Palin left off last night, when she enthused the delegates in attendance.

A local delegate - Anthony Casale, former state assemblyman from Herkimer County, who now lives Cooperstown, is a John McCain delegate for the 24th congressional district and spoke with NEWSChannel Two.
