Griffo elected to second term as state senator in 47th DistrictROME, N.Y. (WKTV) - Republican Incumbent Joseph Griffo won the 47th District State Senate over Michael Boncella. Griffo will begin his second term as a legislator in Albany. Griffo and his family greeted supporters in Rome Tuesday night. The former Oneida County Executive says he appreciates the support of voters. He says priority number one is tackling the budget. Griffo and other legislators will return for a special executive session in two weeks to try and find ways to make cuts. |
