Monday September 3rd

Job Title: Class C Technician

City: Rome

Perform all necessary repairs to all systems, sub-systems & components to tractors, switchers & trailers with the exception of engine & transmission components; Mount/Dismount tires as required; Brand and place tires in inventory; Maintain a clean, orderly & accident free work environment; Perform periodic FHWA inspections, inbound equipment inspections & PM follow up work; Assist in maintaining an accurate parts inventory system; Assist Maintenance Supervisor and lead technician (NCDC only) when needed; and other duties as assigned. High school diploma or equivalent; minimum of 1 year experience in heavy-duty truck trailer maintenance; or a Diesel/Auto Technical School Degree.   Must have a roll around type tool chest and all hand tools to perform adjustment & repairs. Must have a current & valid Driver License. Must have current Brake Certification and proper certification to perform FHWA inspections.   Background check, physical exam & drug screen required.

Pay: $14.25 per hour


Monday September 3rd

Job Title: Working Field Supervisor/Carpenter 

City: Oneida

Must be experienced in all phases of carpentry, including some plumbing and electrical knowledge. Candidate will need to be able to manage projects and crew. Requires a High School diploma or GED, own tools and have a valid NYS driver license. Hours of work are from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Job Title: Truck Tire Specialist

Full-time position. Duties include, but are not limited to the following: Jacking Trucks; Removing & replacing tires; removing & replacing tires from wheels; unloading & loading trucks; and stacking tires; and housekeeping duties for building, such as sweeping or mopping floors. Experience is desired but employer is willing to train. Related mechanic experience a plus. Requirements: clean, valid driver license; be physically able to perform the duties of the job - very physical work, requiring bending, reaching and heavy lifting; and must be able to speak and read the English language for training. Will be required to perform road service calls after hours. Reference/Security check and drug test. Hours are 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday. Overtime.
