The actual date of certification of the two inch total will be determined by a measurement taken by a meteorologist employed by NewsChannel 2. The decision of the meteorologist on the date of certification of the two inch total will be final. In case of multiple entries with the correct date, a random drawing of all of the correct entries will be held. The first entry drawn will be awarded the 2nd Place Prize. The second entry drawn will be awarded the Grand Prize. The odds of winning depend on the number of correct entries received. In the case where the actual date of certification of the two inch total occurs between October 19, 2009 and October 31, 2009, an early conclusion, the contest will be amended in the following way; one Grand Prize will be awarded to a winner from among the eligible entries using method and qualifications noted in these rules. In the case of the early conclusion, the Grand Prize will be one (1) Simplicity Snowthrower (model 1694984) MSRP - $1,199. In the case of the early conclusion, a second round of the contest will begin November 1, 2009 until the actual date of certification of a second two inch total of snow. One (1) Grand Prize, a Simplicity Snowthrower (model 1695665), MSRP - $1,899, would be awarded to a winner from among the eligible entries using method and qualifications noted in these rules.   Entry: You may enter the contest by completing an official entry blank available at Bridenbecker Sales & Service beginning October 19, 2009. You may also enter through the mail by writing, on a standard post card, your name, address, phone number and your guess on the correct date. Only entries received by WKTV or postmarked on the date before the date of certification of the two inch total will be eligible to win. Contestants may enter only one (1) entry per household per day.
