8 ounces dried ziti 1 pound lean ground beef 1 (14-ounce) jar spaghetti sauce 1/2 cup water 1 1/2 cups shredded regular or reduced-fat mozzarella cheese |

|
Begin cooking ziti in a large saucepan according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a 12-inch skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until beef is thoroughly cooked, 4 to 6 minutes, stirring frequently. Drain fat. Stir in spaghetti sauce and water. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer, covered, 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Drain ziti; return to saucepan. Stir in ground beef mixture and cheese; cook over low heat until heated through and cheese has melted, 2 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Makes 6 servings.
