Little Falls Hospital awarded accreditation in mammography

LITTLE FALLS, N.Y. (WKTV) - Little Falls Hospital has been awarded a three-year term of accreditation in mammography.

The recognition comes following a review by the American College of Radiology.

Mammography is a specific type of imaging test that uses a low-dose x-ray system to examine breasts.

A mammogram is used for early detection and diagnosis.

According to Little Falls Hospital, the Gold Seal of Accreditation represents the highest level of image quality and patient safety.
