Utica Police make arrest in shots fired investigation

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Utica police arrested a man who they believe is responsible several for shots fired near Kossuth Avenue and South Street last Friday.

Michael Polkhovsky, 21, of Whitesboro was charged with second degree menacing, second degree reckless endangerment, fourth degree criminal possession of a weapon and discharge of a firearm within city limits.

Polkhovsky allegedly drove up to a vehicle, where two other men were arguing, displayed a gun and fired.

He fired several rounds that hit nearby buildings.
