Utica Police make arrest in vehicle break-in case

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - A Utica man was arrested, Tuesday, in connection to a series of vehicle break-ins.

Kenneth Rabideau, 46, has been charged with two counts of petit larceny, second degree criminal trespass, second degree harassment and resisting arrest.

On Monday night, Police responded to the 1800 block of Rutger Street for a report of a man breaking into vehicles.

He allegedly entered two vehicles and stole property- one vehicle was on Tilden Avenue and the other was on Anthony Street.

Police said they followed his footprints through about seven different areas. Those areas include Rutger Street, Niagara Street, 800 block of Ontario Street, Weston Avenue, Blandina Street, Lansing Street, and
Obsborn Street.
