Utica Police investigate bank robbery in South Utica

Utica Police are investigating a bank robbery at the Adirondack Bank at Richardson and Genesee Street in South Utica about 30 yards from New Hartford town border. Utica Public Safety Commissioner Dan LaBella confirms that the Utica bank was robbed around 4:30 PM.

Utica Police Investigators and patrol cars were canvasing the area surrounding the bank. The investigation has just begun and details are scarce at this time.

NEWSChannel 2 cameras caught video of a man being taken into custody on Noyes Street. Public Safety Commissioner LaBella has not confirmed that the car in the video and the suspect are related to the robbery.
