PHONE INTERVIEW: Erin Hamlin becomes World Champion
LAKE PLACID, N.Y. (WKTV) - Erin Hamlin has won the Women's Luge World Championships. The 22-year-old is a native from Remsen and had the fastest runs in two heats and had a time of 1:28.098 seconds. Hamlin gained fame as a local representative to the 2006 Winter Olympics in Torino, Italy.
On Friday, NEWSChannel spoke with Erin Hamlin from Lake Placid over the phone right after her win.
