*Utica firefighters made an unexpected discovery while battling a fire at what they thought was a vacant home on Clinton Place on June 19th. While searching for potential victims, they found a man hiding in the first floor closet!

*A fire on Whitesboro Street left six people homeless.

*And a fire that destroyed a structure in the City of Utica last weekend turns out to be no accident.

*The "Brooklyn Three," as they're known, have all hired local attorneys to represent them on various assault and weapons charges, and all three say they're not guilty.

*A reporter at Utica's Observer-Dispatch newspaper is in trouble with the law, facing charges in two municipalities.

*A Jordan man is facing some new charges this week, charged with child pornography after State Police in Elbridge searched his home.

*State and County officials are taking the U.S. Department of Interior's decision to place more than 13 thousand acres of Indian land...to federal court.
