Thirty years ago, Meyda Tiffany was founded when Meyer Cohen was asked by his wife Ida (whose names were combined into the company named Meyda) to build a stained glass window in their kitchen so they wouldn’t have to look at the vintage cars in their neighbor’s driveway. What began as a hobby evolved into america ‘s leading and oldest manufacturer of Tiffany Lamps and decorative lighting.Today Meyda is still a family-run business, with Meyer and Ida’s son, Robert, at the helm. With dealers across the U.S. And Canada, Meyda offers an extensive line featuring thousands of styles—from accent pieces to masterpieces. Many of Meyda’s lighting designs were inspired by the works of louis comfort Tiffany, Dirk van Erp, Gustav Stickley, Philip Julius Handel, Pairpoint and Suffner & Kimberly Studios, Charles Rennie Mackintosh.

- HOW TO CLEAN:
- To clean Meyda products made of beveled or transparent glass, apply a household glass cleaner to a soft cloth, and wipe gently.
For fixtures hanging near cooking areas in kitchens, that may have heavy layers of greasy buildup or dirt, we have found Mr. Clean Top Job® works best for cleaning. Apply the cleaner to a soft cloth, and wipe gently. After cleaning, reapply lemon-oil based furniture polish to the shade, for best results. - CUSTOM FIXTURES:
