Two Utica Police officers are back in town but two still remain in Puerto Rico. Utica Police Chief C. Allen Plyman says the two are questioning a suspect known as Jose Cirino about the death of Officer Thomas Lindsey.

It is confirmed Cirino was in town the night Lindsey was killed and the Chief says that at this point in the investigation Cirino will not be brought back to the area and he has not been charged.

The other suspect in this case is Sammy Rivera; he was the driver of the car Officer Lindsey pulled over on Neilson Street.

The investigation is not over yet and the Utica Police need your cooperation in finding answers. Call them at 223-3555 or email them at tips@uticapd.com.
