Abraham House fundraiser and masquerade ball

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Area party-goers put on their masks and headed out to Hotel Utica Friday night for the Abraham House Gala Celebration and Masquerade Ball.

The Abraham House helps to provide a secure home for the terminally ill and fundraisers like these are crucial to their mission.

"We rely solely on contributions from our sponsors and our community," said Judith Galimo event chairwoman. "I think we're kind of a hidden jewel in the area."

The organization is also celebrating its 15th anniversary.
