Reported chimney fire in Augusta draws numerous departments to scene

AUGUSTA N.Y. (WKTV) - Several fire departments were called to a fire in the Town of Augusta Friday night.

Firefighters battled smoke and flames from what was reportedly a chimney fire. The fire broke out started shortly before 8 p.m. on Simmons Road.

There was no word on the cause of the fire.
