UITCA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Bass Pro Shops are headed to the Mohawk Valley.
The company announced today that it reached an agreement to open a store at the Riverside Center in North Utica.
The new 65,000 square-foot is expected to open later this year.
Bass Pro said the Mohawk Valley's "rich outdoor traditions" are one of its reasons for opening the new store.
“We couldn’t be happier to have Bass Pro Shops as a tenant at Riverside,” Elie Schwartz, CEO of Nightingale Properties LLC. said in a written statement. The company owns Riverside Center. “They will be a great draw for the shopping center and the city of Utica. We look forward to their grand opening and the success of their store."
