Cooperstown man arrested after spitting blood in officer's face

COOPERSTOWN, N.Y. (WKTV) - One person was arrested after a fight broke out at Stewart's Shop on Chestnut Street in Cooperstown.

David Miller, 38, has been charged with second-degree harassment, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and third-degree menacing.

Police said an off-duty Cooperstown Police officer broke-up a fight involving Miller. Then on-duty officers, along with Otsego County Sheriff deputies, arrived on the scene and arrested Miller.

Also, police said, he spat blood in an officer's face and resisted arrest.

The incident happened at 7:41 p.m. Thursday.
