Key West Fest tries to jump start spring

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - A local event helped to usher-in this year's stubborn spring season.

The Key West Fest took place Friday night at the Holiday Inn on Burrstone Road in Utica. The event included a visit from several zoo animals, happy hour, a buffet and live entertainment.

The annual event hosted by the radio station 92.7 the drive.

"It's 34 terrible degrees outside and raining," said Genesee Joe the afternoon DJ at 92.7 The Drive. "But, not here not tonight, tonight this is all Key West."
