Motorcycle accident sends one man to the hospital

ROME, N.Y. (WKTV)--One man was ejected from his motorcycle early Monday morning after an accident in the City of Rome

According to Oneida County Sheriff Office, Igor Stamati of Utica was traveling north on Route 26 on his motorcycle when he rear-ended another vehicle, around 5 a.m.

Stamati attempted to pass the car in front of him, as he entered the passing lane, he crashed into another car, and was ejected from his bike. He was taken to Rome Memorial Hospital for minor injuries. 

The accident is still under investigation.
