ROME N.Y.-(WKTV)The need to feed the hungry broke boundaries as a brand new food bank for animals opened in Rome Tuesday.
The food bank called Angels of Fur is a community food bank supplying food, vaccinations, and spaying or neutering to area families.
Angels of Fur is located on East Dominick Street. The non-profit’s director Melissa Jones said Tuesday was its first day open and they’ve helped more than 40 pet owners.
