Police: 2 women face felony charges after burglary

ROME, N.Y. (WKTV)--Authorities have arrested two woman, who they say stole nearly $1,800 worth of gold jewelry from a local home. 

According to the Oneida County Sheriff's office 20-year-old Julia Mathews, and 22-year-old Sandra Johnson both of East Syracuse stole from the home in Rome in March.

Now both are facing felony charges. Mathews is charged with grand larceny. While Johnson is charged with criminal possession of stolen property.
 
Both women have since been released from custody. They are scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
