ONEIDA, N.Y. (WKTV)--After four days of searching, the missing Blossvale woman has been found alive. Since the investigation began Oneida City Police called the missing persons case of Margaret Zavalidroga unusual.

Zavalidroga was located around 5:45 p.m. on Monday. Police say she was found in a wooded area between Lenox Avenue and Genesee Street in Oneida.
Zavalidroga is being cared for at the Oneida Hospital. Authorities say her sons have been notified.
"We're glad we found her safe and alive, we want to find out what the circumstances were, there are a lot of peculiar things with this case, that we want to figure out exactly what took place," Oneida City Police Chief David Meeker said.

Police say her vital signs were all okay when she was found.

Authorities say they still have unanswered questions, concerning how long she was in the vehicle, where her son left her and how she got to the other side of the woods.

Police expect to have some of those answers and release more information on Tuesday.
