Public hearing on homeless sex offenders draws crowd

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The North Utica Senior Center was packed Wednesday night for a public hearing on the controversial issue of giving vouchers to homeless sex offenders.

Oneida County often uses hotels in North Utica to house the homeless. The county social services representative was there to answer a number of tough questions.

The zoning changes, concerning the Davis Motel, were also discussed during the meeting.
