UPDATE: Tuesday 12:30am
Residents are reportedly being allowed back into their homes in Chadwicks.
The heavy police presence in Chadwicks all day culminated in barricade and evacuation of the 3300 Block of Oneida Street around 7:30pm.
Residents who live in that block had been cleared out, but there's no word on how long New Hartford and State Police will remain.
One resident, Annemarie Dipaolo said she saw at least 10 heavily armed SWAT Team Members along her street as she was being evacuated.
There are also reports of several people being escorted out of the area by police, and a home surrounded.
This afternoon, police surrounded the Word of Life Christian Church, and one man was reported arrested late this afternoon.
No confirmation if these two incidents are connected. Police are not releasing any information, except to say the evacuation/ barricade was a precautionary measure.
But again, residents are reportedly being allowed back into their homes.
