Storm wreaks havoc in Whitesboro

WHITESBORO, N.Y. (WKTV) - The region braced, once again, for a line of severe storms Wednesday night and areas in Whitesboro were significantly damaged.

High winds, hail, trees and wires down were down throughout the area.
National Grid crews were working to fix the lines and village workers have been out removing downed trees from the streets.

"The wind was blowing sideways," said Jason Small of Whitesboro. "We went and looked out the window and that's when the tree came down."
