Two Yorkville residents face 14 counts of animal abuse

(WKTV) - Yorkville Police have arrested two people in connection to an animal abuse case, Friday night.

David Ingersoll, 54, and Julia Westcott, 53, both of Yorkville have been charged with 14 counts of animal cruelty.

Police said seven dogs, including four puppies, were found with several signs of neglect. They were covered with feces and urine, and they lacked food and water.

An investigation into the dogs and their condition began on November 5.

The animals are being treated at the Stevens-Swan Humane Society.
