Utica man faces felony charges after shots fired investigation

UTICA N.Y. (WKTV)--Police say one Utica man has been arrested after he was behaving oddly and after further investigation, officers found an illegal gun.

According to the Utica Police Department, 31-year-old Arthur Brady had been acting suspicious while officers were investigating a shots fired case.

The incident happened near City and Green Streets on Wednesday.

Authorities say they approached Brady while he was reaching for his wrist several times.

Shortly after police discover Brady was in possession of a .32 caliber handgun.

He is now facing two felony charges, criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a firearm.
