WKTV Newschannel 2 8K Boilermaker Walk draws in thousands

Laurie Benedict

UTICA – The 2007 “WKTV Newschannel 2 8K Boilermaker Walk” drew in crowds by the thousands Saturday morning, as they made their way on and around the Masonic Care Community campus.

Now in its sixth y ear, the walk was added to the Boilermaker weekend in 2001 to offer walkers a chance to participate in the Boilermaker experience. Registered Walk finishers receive an official Boilermaker bib number, and a finisher's pin. Also, youths under the age of 12 can walk free if accompanied by a paid adult or guardian, but must be registered.
